There’s something for everyone at Critz Farms

Visitors are always welcome at the farm. We have activities for kids and adults, as well as food, beverages, gifts, and rides. From spring through autumn and the holidays, you’ll find many ways to start new traditions and have fun, too!

The farm is open to visitors from mid March until just before Christmas, with the specific dates changing annually with the calendar. Our hours change seasonally, so please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Balsam Barn Gift Shop

The Balsam Barn Gift Shop is open from early summer through just before Christmas in our large historic barn. Visit often; new merchandise is put out regularly, including our extensive selection of Christmas ornaments, unique gifts, and locally crafted merchandise.

Cider Mill

Our fresh sweet cider is made in our cider mill from apples grown on our farm. It also serves as the base of our award winning hard ciders which are served in our Tap Room. Watch us press apples in the traditional style on our rare antique rack and cloth press.

Corn Maze

Our annual fall corn maze is always challenging and fun! Enjoy the maze, find the information stations, and earn a prize!

Critz Café

Our full-service café offers breakfast, lunch, and early dinner, as well as affordable snacks. Open weekends only in spring, fall, during Christmas season and for certain special events. Hours and menu change seasonally.

Farm Animals

The Critz Animal Area includes a small group of resident animals during the year, and more than 25 visiting farm animals in the fall. Have fun observing our farm friends in their pens and pastures and pet them if they choose to come near the fence.

Nature Trails

Connect with nature as you explore the farm and woodlands with friends, family, or your dog. Our crew developed a set of trails through parts of our 350-acre property.

Playgrounds

Bring the kids to enjoy our playgrounds, including slides of all sizes, a play wooden pirate ship, play wooden train, sandbox, and more.

Sugar House

Tours of our Sugar House and tractor rides to the maple sugarbush during our Maple Syrup Celebration are very popular. See how maple sap is harvested and processed into syrup for a visit to remember.
