Choose a tree and wreaths from our gorgeous selection
Look for a Tree. Find a Tradition.
Pack the family into the car and come out to the farm on a nice winter day. Climb on the wagon and take a scenic ride through our acres of Christmas trees. Pick just the right tree for your family from our selection of more than 45,000 trees. Just cut down your tree with a saw we provide, drag it to the tractor path, and the tractor will come back to pick up you and your tree. Wagon rides are offered Wednesday through Sunday. Visitors are welcome to walk out to the fields when wagon rides are not available.
Making it Fun
Our well-organized tagging system makes it easy. Back at the barn, our staff will bale your tree and put it in a safe place while you take your part of the tag up to the gift shop to pay. Then warm up and have a snack in the Critz Café (weekends only), browse in the Balsam Barn Gift Shop, or have a drink in the Critz Brewing & Cider Tasting Room. When you’re ready to go, drive up to the loading area with your half of the tree tag, and our staff will retrieve your tree and tie it on your car for you.
Don’t want to cut your own?
We also have an enormous selection of freshly harvested trees in our historic barn. They’re always fresh and locally grown right here on our permanently protected Cazenovia farmland. Sizes range from tabletop to 12-footers, so we’ll have the perfect tree for your needs.
Wreaths and Fresh Garland Made Daily
We offer wreaths of all sizes, from 20-60 inches. These fresh Adirondack balsam wreaths are made daily, right here on the farm. Traditional 22-24″ wreaths make the perfect gift to far-away friends and family, and can be shipped anywhere in the U.S. Order yours for the holidays. Decorate your home or office with fresh garland (roping) available in a variety of lengths. Find Christmas tree stands and other holiday decorating items in our Balsam Barn Gift Shop.

Freshly cut trees are on display both inside and outside the barn. Prices start at $10 for a table-top tree, and trees are priced by size and quality.
