DESCRIPTION:Celebrate National Dog Day with us! We will be hosting our third annual Dog Days at Critz Farms on Sunday\, August 23rd. Bring your friendly dogs to the farm to celebrate in style. We will have a 1 mile off road walk/run\, demonstrations\, talent show with prizes\, face painting\, vendors\, food trucks\, and more. We also will be participating with local shelters to raise awareness of their services and collect donations! Check out the full event details below! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nActivities \n\n\n\n12-12:45 Race day registration and check in for the 1 mile off road walk/run to benefit the Angel Fund. Location is under the tent on the cider mill patio. *Register now!  \n\n\n\n12:00 pm – Dog activities start including walking trails\, off leash area\, pools\, and more. Sign up your dog for the talent show by the main stage. Pup Cups in Tap Room one scoop vanilla ice cream with a dog treat $2.00. Complimentary for each dog registered in the 1 mile walk run to benefit the Angel Fund. Vendors and food trucks will be open. \n\n\n\n1:00 pm – Start the 1-mile off road walk/run (self timed) to benefit the Angel Fund at the Veterinary Medical Center of CNY in Syracuse. Entry fee is $20.00. Sign up in advance here. The fund is used at the doctors’ discretion to help bridge financial gaps and assist patients in accessing care\, whether through our hospital or by connecting them with lower-cost resources such as shelters and community clinics when appropriate and available. \n\n\n\n2:00 pm – Happy Hikes Dog Training demonstration \n\n\n\n3:00 pm – Announce raffle winners and start Dog Talent Show – Sign up your dog and show off their talents. Any simple or cute tricks are encouraged. We’ll have apple picking\, pumpkin picking\, delicious handcrafted beverages\, wagon rides\, and of course our famous corn maze! Come experience everything our Fall Harvest Celebration has to offer. There is truly something for everyone.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nActivities include\n\n\n\n\nThe 2026 Gigantic “Steam Engine” Corn Maze\n\n\n\nFarm Animals area (more than 25 animals)\n\n\n\nCritz Café food service (weekends only)\n\n\n\nPick-your-own apples\n\n\n\nPick-your-own pumpkins \n\n\n\nPre-picked apples and pumpkins\n\n\n\nWagon rides to the apple orchard and pumpkin field (weekends only)\n\n\n\nFresh sweet apple cider\n\n\n\nGift Shop\n\n\n\nLive music (weekends only)\n\n\n\nCider-making demonstrations (weekends only)\n\n\n\nTap Room serving handcrafted beer\, hard cider\, and wine\n\n\n\nFall decorating supplies\n\n\n\nPlaygrounds\n\n\n\nCow Train Ride for Kids (weekends only)\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWeekend Visitors\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAdmission tickets will be required for all weekend visitors to our Fall Harvest Celebration. \n\n\n\nTickets will be on sale for weekends from September 12 to October 25 (including ColumbusDay) for the following time slots: \n\n\n\n10:00 am–2:00 pm | 2:00 pm–5:00 pm \n\n\n\nVisitors must arrive at the farm during their ticketed time slot\, but are not required to leave by a specific time. \n\n\n\nWeekend tickets purchased in advance\, online are $10.00/person and include: \n\n\n\n\nEntry to our “Fast Lane” for quicker access to the fall fun\n\n\n\n\nWeekend tickets purchased at the gate are also $10.00/person. Children under the age of 2 are free. \n\n\n\n\nFamilies of four or more arriving at the farm together in one vehicle pay $40. Good for one weekend day visit (or Columbus Day). \n\n\n\n\n\n\n        Get Tickets Here!\n        \n        \n        \n\n\n\n\n\nFor logistical reasons\, every single visitor requires a ticket on the weekends. It is not possible to visit the farm on Saturday and Sunday for ONLY pumpkin picking\, or just to visit the Tasting Room. We apologize for any inconvenience. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWeekday Visitors\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDuring the week\, there is NO general admission fee to visit the farm to pick apples or pumpkins\, visit the tap room or gift shop.  \n\n\n\nWe do require a $6 ticket fee for visitors to the corn maze\, animals\, and playgrounds. That fee is $6 per person for adults and children (under 2 are free)\, and covers access to all three activity areas. Pay admission in our Gift Shop upon arrival. And ask our gift shop staff about a weekday season pass if you are a frequent weekday visitor! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRefund Policy / Changing Ticket Time or Day\n\n\n\nCustomers needing to change the time or day of purchased tickets will be able to do so up to one hour before the start of your reserved ticket time through the ticketing website. Full refunds are not provided. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAs a farm\, our celebrations\, activities\, and hours change by the season and day of the week.
