Book your tour now … the schedule fills up quickly! * honey bees and pollination (active hive) * pick your own pumpkins with hayride * farm animals- calf, goats, bunnies, ponies, llamas and more * growth and development of pumpkins * *overview of diversified farming at Critz Farms *one small pumpkin per child* *offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays * each child gets a small jug (100 ml.) of Critz Farms Pure Maple Syrup .* Information on the process for maple syrup production: tree tapping, sap collection, boiling, and packaging * story and lesson in the barn * hayride to the sugarbush, * visit to the Sugar House * boiling when weather permits * taste fresh maple syrup. All tour start and stop times are pre-established. It is important that you arrive on time in order to have a complete tour. We can accommodate a shorter tour, however students will not experience all of the stations. Indoor eating space is available by reservation for groups that want to bring a lunch to eat before or after the tour. A visit to our gift shop can also be arranged.
